In collaboration with Lab Service Analytica S.r.l. and ICT professionals, we develop innovative cloud-based solutions, such as OLEUM SPEC for olive oil quality prediction, and other AI-based applications in the agri-food sector and applied research.
Decades of experience in research and application development have led to the creation of a series of cloud-based SaaS products capable of acquiring information from laboratories around the world and providing predictive models for product quality parameters, grading, freshness, and shelf life. SHELF LIFE PREDICTION WITH AI
By combining laboratory analyses and our software, we can create a complex scientific process that evaluates key factors to determine the expiry date or minimum shelf life (MSL), guaranteeing safety and quality for the consumer.
With our application, thanks to specially developed artificial intelligence algorithms, we can create the optimal blends of raw materials such as oils, coffee, honey and beer using different samples to achieve the best possible result in terms of consumption and production cost of the blend. We can define a reference target to obtain the most similar blend possible at the lowest cost.

LabService Analytica: Partners and collaborators of MLI CLOUD s.r.l. Lead company in the OLEUM SPEC project.Since 1984, LabService Analytica Ltd. has been marketing consumables and dedicated bench-top instruments for chemical laboratories in the analytical, food, environmental and polymer characterisation fields. Thanks to ongoing collaboration with leading public and private laboratories, LabService Analytica has extensive experience in the analysis of pesticide residues and persistent organic microcontaminants (e.g. dioxins and PCBs) and provide specific solutions in accordance with the main reference methods.
Olitalia s.r.l.: Olitalia, an Italian company specializing in oils and vinegars, offers a wide range of products both through retail distribution channels and in the catering sector, where it is the market leader in Italy. Its fruitful relationship with the catering world, thanks to active collaborations with leading Italian and international professionals and associations in the sector, and its presence in markets across all continents make it a point of reference for consumers from different cultures, enabling it to respond to the needs of a complex and constantly changing market. It participated in the implementation of the OLEUM SPEC project and was the first major customer of MLI CLOUD.
ITS Locorotondo: ITS Foundation - Higher Technical Institute for the Area "New Technologies for Made in Italy - Food System Agri-food Production" and MLI CLOUD signed a collaboration agreement in 2025 for the definition and implementation of research projects, business services, initiatives, and events aimed at promoting young people's relationship with the production system, the dissemination of technical and scientific culture, support for the development of entrepreneurship, the culture of work, and the implementation of specific, continuous, and coordinated training activities.
Alma Mater Studiorum: The Alma Mater Studiorum - University of Bologna is an Italian state university. Active since the 11th century, it is considered by many sources to be the oldest university in the world still in operation.Together with MLI CLOUD, it actively participated in the OLEUM SPEC project, which applied AI to the optimization of production processes for the quality and sustainability of edible and extra virgin olive oil production.It continues to collaborate on perfecting and optimizing the analysis and classification processes for olive oils.

MLI FLOW at CLC: Compagnia Lattiero Casearia s.r.l. has been successfully using our MLI FLOW cloud platform for a year now for the digital traceability of food products and compliance with ISO standards.
“SMART MALAXATION SYSTEM” PROJECT: In collaboration with Labservice Analytica Srl and the ITS Academy Agripuglia Foundation in Locorotondo. Funded to optimizethe ITS Academy AgriPuglia laboratories—blending tradition and innovation—for the acquisition ofspecialized equipment and an analytical data processing service aimed at developing a pilot line dedicated to the analysis and control of aromatic development during the olive kneading process
"COFFEE Al" PROJECT: In collaboration with the ITS Academt Agripuglia Foundation in Locorotondo, this project is funded by Mission 4 of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) and aims to develop a cloud-based platform for training new professionals in the coffee processing industry, through activities supporting the design and development of an automated laboratory system dedicated to analyzing the aromatic profile of coffee using multiple analytical techniques and an integrated solution for Big Data analysis based on Artificial Intelligence
